There's some fun stuff going on the Cozy Krew page on Facebook.
What? What is the Cozy Krew??? That's where readers who read my books gather and have fun. I love how some of them have gotten together in the real world or even met up at my annual TWO DAMES ON MY MYSTERY TRAIN event every October.
If you want to join, CLICK HERE. We'd love to have you.

Right now is a great time to join! If you don't belong to Facebook (I can see your grumbles and eye rolls), you should try it. It's free and there's so many wonderful authors on there that you get to interact with on a more personal level. That's the best part for me. I love to interact with everyone and some readers just can't make it to book signings or events. I understand that, but I don't want them to miss out, so that's why I have the Cozy Krew. Facebook is easy to join and you really don't have to do much. Just join the group and that's all you have to do. You can be as interactive or not as you want.

Don't worry! Right here on Tuesday Morning Coffee with Tonya, there's still the monthly giveaway and the weekly gift card giveaway.

Right now is a GREAT time to join the COZY KREW! Why??
Because we've started a Tonya Kappes Book READ ALONG for Scene of the Grind.
What is a READ ALONG???
We are reading a few chapters a week until the book is finished. The reason why I decided to do this is because I'm focusing on my self publishing career this year~be sure to check out next Tuesday's Coffee Chat for my 2018 publishing schedule~ and I've written seven books between SCENE OF THE GRIND and COLD BLOODED BREW that there are a few details that I've forgotten.

Since I've got to reread SCENE OF THE GRIND, I thought y'all might like to as well. There was an overwhelming response on the COZY KREW Facebook page that readers wanted to join me. It was go from there!

We are doing them on Monday, 7 PM EST and last night was the first night, BUT you didn't miss out! It's an open thread so people who couldn't make it the first night, can go on and comment when they can. So head on over and join the discussion. It'll be a lot of fun!

Since we are kicking off the SCENE OF THE GRIND read along, I thought it would be fun to get to know the main characters.
WELCOME TO HONEY SPRINGS!!

MEET SOME OF THE CHARACTERS:

ROXANNE BLOOM:
Roxy, as her friends call her, has black, long wavy (as she says, but it's curly) hair. She's a thirty-year old divorced lawyer that moved to Honey Springs. Honey Springs hold fond memories for because she'd spend her childhood summers with her Aunt Maxi and long days at the Lake Honey Springs Pier.

Roxy has decided to follow her dream and open The Bean Hive Coffeehouse on the newly renovated boardwalk.

PATRICK CANE:
Patrick is the owner of Cane Contractors. They are the biggest contracting business in Honey Springs. He's lived in Honey Springs all his life. He's tall with big brown eyes that leads to a chiseled jaw that melts into a tender smile.

He and Roxy had summers flings every year. He's really glad she's back.

MAXINE BLOOM:
Maxine, Aunt Maxi to Roxy and Maxi to citizens in Honey Springs, is the sister of Roxy's deceased father. She's very eccentric and reminds everyone of Phyllis Diller. She's a spitfire who is the only woman on the town council. She owns a couple of the buildings on the Honey Springs Pier, including The Bean Hive. She owns a couple rental houses as income. She's a busy-body.
